By yesterday, we'd had a few warm days and the snow had started to melt. The snowdrops made their initial appearance, for once blooming close to Mark's anniversary -- today -- his fourteenth year of being gone. In keeping with Mark's wicked sense of humor, though, it's snowing today, so soon the snowdrops will be back in hibernation for -- how long -- a day or two, a few more weeks, perhaps into April as happens some years. These little clown plants provide a good reminder to keep smiling, to keep laughing. I hope to do more of each before the day is out.
